Small changes makes a huge impact on life
  • Establish a morning routine

Establishing a morning routine is one of the keys to have a better start of the day. The most successful persons around the world start their day early morning. Waking up early morning can make you feel that the day is long, which gives you more time for yourself.

Most people around the world would like to do it but due to changes in current working pattern, night shifts, and nightlife, this might seem difficult to adopt.

But then if you can make it a habit, it’s one of the major change which would make a huge impact on your life. You can make it a habit by doing this on a daily basis.

  • Say hello to random people

Saying ‘hi’ or ‘hello’ can do wonders. This can lead to small conversations and you never know who you might come across. It may lead to conversations which can open many opportunities or it can lead to nothing. But, it would surely give you some experience.

Some people might not respond to you or maybe harsh but not to worry you still learn from them.  The best of the friendship starts just with a random ‘hello’. Even the best business partners met with just a random ‘hello’.

And if this doesn’t work. Move On!!

  • Listen intently

You need to be a good listener in order to be a good leader. Whether it’s a movie or talking to someone, just listen and focus on them. When you catch your mind wandering around as they’re speaking, snap back to reality and try to focus. Give them indications that you are listening by repeating back some of what they say through follow-up questions.

People just want to be heard and form connections. It’s a basic human need. Help create it by listening. You’ll get your chance to speak.

  • Learn to say no without an excuse

The fear of a bad response from the other party has led us making weird excuses to get out of the situation. It gets exhausting to make excuses.

So, it’s better to say ‘No’ without any fear of how someone will take it if you do not want to do something or go somewhere.

  • Speak up for what you want

If you feel cheated, speak up. If you want something, no one is going to know about it, as they do not read your mind. Just be honest and do not be afraid to speak up. But, there are will be some risk when you will decide to speak up for yourselves. But, if you want to be happy and live your best life, then this risk is worth taking.

  • Make decisions

Make decisions even if it is wrong. You need to take some risk and never fear about failure. Because failure gives you experience. While making decisions, choose a direction and go with it and then adjust it, if necessary.

  •  Be honest

Be impeccable with your word. If you say you’re going to do something, follow through with it. If you say you’re not going to do something, then don’t do it. We are a society of blame-shifters and we can’t seem to handle being wrong.

If you messed up, admit it to someone and do everything you can to make it right if you value their friendship or relationship.

  • Don’t keep your phone on your nightstand

Your bedtime routine probably includes making the rounds on your phone’s apps; social media, email, and more. Let us be truthful. You do it, your friends do it and we do it too. But, this needs to be stopped. The mobile screen gives off a blue light that keeps your brain awake and affects the quality of your sleep.

  • Practice mindfulness

Greater mindfulness will give you a better insight, and help you make better decisions. But, how will you achieve greater mindfulness?

Meditation!!! And, it comes with many health benefits, including better understanding, a stronger immune system, and possibly greater longevity. If you have a hard time meditating, try sitting still for just a few minutes, or do an activity such as writing in a journal where you reflect on the past day or the day ahead.

  • Give people credit

If someone helped you, make it a point to say it and thank them. If someone is wearing something you find cool, compliment them. Give people credit for what they’re doing, as they feel motivated. You’d be surprised how much this can mean to someone, especially if they’re having a terrible day.
