Sri Lanka’s all-rounder Dilruwan Perera announces retirement

Sri Lanka all-rounder Dilruwan Perera has announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket with immediate effect. His retirement has shocked his fans and team member as a brilliant all-rounder bids goodbye to international cricket.

In his retirement letter written to Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Dilruwan promises to play domestic cricket.

Sri Lanka Cricket also tweeted officially quoting that Dilruwan Perera, the all-rounder who represented his national team Sri Lanka decides to retire from all forms of cricket in international cricket with immediate effect. Adding to the quote Sri Lanka Board wished the cricketer luck for his future “endeavours”.

Dilruwan was an off-spinner, who represented Sri Lanka across all international formats. He hit 1456 runs across formats and scalped 177 wickets during his international career.
